An advocate is a person who supports or promotes the interest of a cause or a group.

And while I’m not the biggest fan of the rock we have landed on, I do believe we have to now mine like hell to get whatever resources we can from it.

So while advocating for the president might be a reach, let's give some ideas as to how this relationship can be mutually beneficial while also understanding that we are also looking to see how it will all end up.
