Y’all ever been to an after party? Sometimes they can get pretty WILD, right? Meaning, the after party is usually the place where people REALLY unwind, get loose and yes, get drunk off their behinds. It’s the party AFTER the party.

Well, the bible tells about a story which presents a bit of a different take on what an after party truly is…..because it tells about what happened AFTER THE PARTY that a king named Belshazzar gave, and NONE OF IT was good. See the problem with people having a “party all the time” sensibility is that they never think about WHEN THE PARTY WILL STOP, because they’re too busy living for the good times. So they end up ill-equipped to handle things when the time comes for the FUN and partying to end.
