I don’t know how it came about this over focus on feelings. That everything is feelings-based, that everything is relative (and therefore, there is no truth). Political discourse has devolved into who’s the oppressed and who's the oppressor. Political power is gained by being the most oppressed minority. News can be summed up to whack the bigot or the bully, or whack the white racist. This is The Age of Madness.
