Welcome to episode # 224 of the the podcast celebrating the Alea Iacta Est gaming community. This is Tetsemi- and I am saying what ever Mkallah wrote for me! With me as always, is Alludra. WoW -

Mk - Blackrock Foundry Normal and Heroic and a World boss Rukhmar became available this past week.

Mythic difficulty for Blackrock Foundry becomes available this Tuesday, February 10th.

WatcherDev (Blizzard) explains Blackrock Foundry tuning -

Lead Game Designer Ion Hazzikostas took to the forums to better explain Blizzard’s philosophy on Blackrock Foundry’s difficulty tuning. If you’ve been raiding it this week, you probably noticed it’s a little harder to progress than Highmaul was at the beginning. According to Watcher, Blackrock Foundry is not meant to make Highmaul immediately obsolete. They still expect you to fully progress through Highmaul before you can realistically tackle Blackrock Foundry. Normal mode Highmaul had an expectation of players coming in with heroic dungeon gear, but Blackrock Foundry is tuned for players in full raid gear (including the first few “easy” bosses). Later bosses are tuned with even more player item level in mind

WoW Stable at 10+ Million Subscribers -

Blizzard had their Q4 2014 earning call recently and announcing that WoW was still at 10+ million subscribers at the end of 2014. This is the same as the mid November announcement that listed WoW at 10+ million subscribers.

Alludra -And, in case you haven’t noticed- Love is in the Air - right now through February 16th, WOW’s annual Valentine’s Day event is in full swing. The Love is in the Air event offers a variety of rewards, including two mounts, two pets, and many achievements (One of which is totally impossible unless you have REALLY cool friends). Icy Veins has a great guide to you through everything you need to know to complete the event, which we have linked in the show notes.

AIE Anniversary Events-

Tet- AIE’s official 8th anniversary is February 15, and plans are underway to celebrate the momentous occasion. Not only are we planning on having some huge guests for the show next Sunday, but the AIE officers and guildies are busy planning events for the celebration.

Nevermore has a meet and greet planned for Saturday 14, from noon to 2 server. Come celebrate AIE’s anniversary in mumble- learn more about the guild and your fellow guildies!

Sparrow is leading a PvP Event- the plan is to assault Ashran with a might, fury and humor seldom seen on the field of battle. A raid group will be started at 2pm server (other groups can be started as needed) and we will run the road, the events, and any rares that pop up in Ashran until 6pm server.
