Kav has been hard at work on the new AIE website and it looks great, with lots of great functionality including guildie of the month spotlight, easy links to the forums, mumble information, the meetup site and so much more. If you have been a member of AIE for any time, you know about the epic event that is Nerdtacular. The annual event is taking place at the Snowbird resort from July 30- August 1st- and tickets are quickly selling out. There is more information at http://nerdtacular.com and there are tons of converstaions going on in the nerdtacular section of the frogpants forums, including ride and room cordination, plans to go out to the movies, and more.

On February 27th, the Science fiction community lost everyone’s favourite honorary geek grandfather, Leonard Nimoy. To remember this great may and his many contributions to Star Trek and Geekdom, STO has set up two permanent in game memorials, not just honoring Mr Nimoy, but other Star Trek family members who have passed.
