Welcome to episode # 244 of the the podcast celebrating the Alea Iacta Est gaming community. This is Mkallah, and when I’m not podcasting, I am messing up the guild kitchen. With me as always, is Tetsemi (“spread sheets blah blah”). Alludra is off scouting out the best houses to go trick or treating at. This week we are joined by special guests Arveshet and Sferics who are here to talk to us about AIE in SWTOR. Welcome!

For those attending Blizzcon, in less than two weeks, the AIE Guild Hall is going to be available and active, and they are looking for volunteers to help make it successful. We need people and donations to help cover expenses.
The Guild Hall will be open at exactly 8:00 AM on Friday November 6th and Saturday November 7th and will be closing down when one of the persons in charge falls asleep from exhaustion (but most likely before midnight Sunday.)
Location: The Anaheim Convention Center Hilton, upstairs at the top of the escalator, then left. Look for signs.

EVE
CCP had some big news this weekend at the EVE Vegas 2015 event. Coming Spring of 2016, expect the Citadel Expansion, which is expected to be the biggest addition to the sandbox gameplay since the original starbases. Citadel will include a complete overhaul of capital ships and three different sizes of the new modular citadel structure which will be anchorable anywhere including high security space. The Secret World
The second part of Issue #12: to the Dark Tower is here, with lots of new context and challenges. Take on the new Manufactory Breached Dungeon, where you continue the story from the Manufactory and face all new challenges in the depths of the Orochi headquarters.
Fight against the hideous monstrosities which the Orochi have tried to take control of, and hear from your old acquaintances John and Emma as they struggle for the future of Tokyo.
You can also enjoy the all new Nightmare version of the New York Raid. Get ready for even more epic battles as you now need to master your opponent’s AEGIS attacks and defenses.
Also, the preorder for The Park, Funcom’s upcoming psychological horror thriller, set in The Secret World’s Atlantic Island Park, where a dark and sinister secret is just waiting to be uncovered is currently 23% off. The game will be out just in time for Halloween, with a release date of Tuesday, October 27th.

1 Pre-Season 11 ‘The New Dawn’ recap:
1.1 The Iconian war is over and preparations
for the Galactic Restoration, Mirror Universe
Invasion and Badlands Battle Zone are under way.
1.2 By completing certain tasks during
the Galactic Restoration, bonus
reputation and XP will be enjoyed
for the week of the official release
of Season 11.
1.3 Admiralty System is coming!
Obsolete starships in your
inventory will be used by Duty
Officer (similar to WoW’s follower)
daily missions for rewards. This is in
addition to the current Duty Officer
daily missions.
1.4 Dilithium pricing for all starships
has been greatly reduced until 11/3
to encourage upgrading starships
for Season 11 challenges.
1.5 A new Herald lockbox will begin dropping
in loot in Season 11. Rare Iconan and
Herald starships will be available to
the lucky player.
1.6 New Herald starships and a pet
will be available in the Lobi store
as well
2. Dry docks will be introduced for the
long-term storage of no-longer-used
star ships that exceed the player’s
currently-used star ship inventory
slots available. This a starship
collector’s dream-come-true.
3. Until Season 11 launches 10/27, daily
give-aways of services and items in
the in-game C-Store will be available
for all players.
4. In honour of ‘National Back to the Future
Day’, a free Future Flyer hover board
will be available to all players in the
C-Store. The giveaway will be from
10/21/2015 until 10/26/2015. It will be
only useable on Risa. A sweet performer
by my this reporter’s test runs!
5. The ‘Design Your Ship’ crowd-sourced
starship project is in the last stage. We
shall get the final result shortly, which will
be made available for purchase.
6. Until Season 11 launches, all current
and legacy lockboxes from previous
seasons will drop randomly as loot.
