Welcome to episode # 246 of the the podcast celebrating the Alea Iacta Est gaming community. The Die has been podcast, This is Alludra, and I think you are awesome, with me as always, is Mkallah (there are apple spice cookies in the guild kitchen ) and right over there, we have Tetsemi. Community
The AIE Guildhall at Blizzcon was successful, lots of friends and guildies met up, hung out, and a few podcasts were recorded. Just a reminder, the AIE Guildhall at Blizzcon is not just the AIE WoW Guildhall, but for the whole community of AIE and friends. Planning is already underway for next year’s guildhall so we can get a jump on preparations to make it more awesome. Big thanks to Mewkow and Lanctharus who help organize the guild hall and to all the volunteers and people who donated their time, effort and money to make it a success.
Also, did you know we have a general community section in the forums? We do, it’s for anything about the community, meetup planning, or general topics the AIE Community wants to discuss. Join in a topic already started or make your own, this is your community, let’s celebrate.

Tuesday, Nov 17th, Blizzard will release patch 6.2.3 for World of Warcraft. This patch will come with Valor upgrades completing a wing of LFR each week for the first time each week, the first heroic dungeon of each week, Mythic dungeons and also earned with the weekly event upon completion.
Each piece of gear will be able to be upgraded twice for 250 valor for each upgrade.
Timewalking dungeons for Cataclsym as well as Cross-Realm mythic raiding will also be introduced as well as a transition to PvP Season 3 beginning.
Class changes as well, generally buffs to underperforming spells/talents for certain classes.

Arv has started a discussion on Conquests, explaining what they are and when the guild will be running them. He will be posting each Tuesday which planet they’re invading and make you can do to easily reach the goal on one character. It looks like for this week they’re invading Alderaan (aww…hasn’t that poor planet been through enough already?)

We’d like to thank Cybyl for the following update to STO!
Starships are here! STO is offering starships and a mirror universe bridge officer, captain leeta, if you make a donation to the chase masterson’s charity. This charity fights bullying using the appeal of pop culture and are active in schools and conventions and the like! And for those of us who are thinking Leeta sounds familiar, she is from deep space 9 and yes, they got the original actress back to voice her!
And there’s been a new exploration story arc added! It starts with the quest ‘a signgle step’. The latest update also adds the mirror invasion even and the badlands battle zone. Other quality of life improvements include an overhaul to the trait system, allowing for more sharing of traits across the different races, and the new drydock system.
Finally, STO is having weekly giveaways, announced every tuesday on their website, and if that is not enough, from now until November 26th, they have reduced the price of lifetime subscriptions by $100!! Considering all the perks and amazing things you get for being subscribed, that’s a huge deal!
Wildstar
Quite a few people have returned to Wildstar as it’s gone free to play and an active discussion of hitting level cap and what to do when that happens is occurring on the forums.
