This week we are joined by special guests Hoots and Bhock who are here to talk to us about AIE in EVE and Crowfall! Welcome!

The Alpha for RUST, a multiplayer survival game, is currently available on STEAM for $20.00- and AIE, of course, has a presence. This game is no for the faint of heart- or the under 18 crowd, though- the only aim of Rust is to survive- it is a kill or be killed environment. Toxxia, on our forums, has a great suggestion for a new micro-holiday in World of Warcraft and would like folks that like the idea to help vote it up in the WoW Forums.
From the post “Peacebloom Day would have you gather special blooms at 3 graveyards near the enemy faction and create a bouquet to leave at a graveyard near your faction capital (or get blooms from your faction to leave a bouquet for the enemy). Let the bouquets be visible for a week/month! Or maybe add this event to Remembrance Day/Hallows Eve? I’d call the quest Where Have All the Flowers Gone? and it would reward title: The Peaceable. For added fun, kills in BG’s would give seeds to plant in graveyards, and leaving those bouquets would give you the title: Wildly Inept Pacifist. (This was a guild on my server and I always loved the name.)”

Captain Cybyl’s Star Trek Online News Summary for week ending 3/12/2017:
The AIE Classis Fleet in STO paid its respects on Ralff’s Remembrance Day on February 26, 2017. As Ralff was eulogised on Discord voice and text chats, Captain Cybyl paid respects as the Fleet’s emissary at the Eternal Flame Memorial in Earth’s Starfleet Academy, the Spock Memorial on Vulcan and the Spock Memorial on New Romulus.
The 26th century Dreadnaughts are here! They will be either Federation, Klingon and Romulan, depending upon the lucky player’s character affiliation. These are gorgeous and massive, and I mean huge, ships! As a special promotion, starting March 9th until April 3rd, whenever an R&D pack is purchased from the C-Store and opened, there will be a random chance that a 26th century dreadnaught will be awarded! To support this promotion, this weekend all R&D material packs will be 20% off in the C-Store. This will be a big boon to crafting as well!
Speaking of sales- a 20% off Lobi store sale is also happening this weekend as well. If you had your eye on a new uniform, starship, pet, weapon, or a host of other goodies, act now!
A new backstory has been posted to the STO website blog entitled ‘A Divided Duty’ on the progress of the Tzenkethi uprising story arc. Is the conscious of a lone Tzenkethi enough to save a world? Find out in this latest sci-fi tale. As before, this Captain shall refrain from spoilers.

Crowfall: what it is… and what it is not
Bhock can talk about Crowfall here. I’m super curious to hear about it. And, he really wants to talk about it!!!
In short = Crowfall inspiration are ShadowBane and EvE Online
Warning = this is a pre-alpha 4 (creating the basic blocs), and alpha are about testing basic blocks assembled
balancing and refining is not part of alpha
game will change a lot before it becomes playable beta and even more with release

PvP (solo, group, faction and guild)
Sandbox[ES] (Campaigns) with distinct sets of rules and goals
Risk Vs Reward and Speed to Completion
