Welcome to episode #301 of the the podcast celebrating you, the Alea Iacta Est gaming community, the die has been podcast. This is Tetsemi: To my left is Mewkow: – (catch phrase here). And to my right is Mkallah: (catch phrase here). This week is a host show to discuss the various activities in AIE and how we are getting ready for Battle of Azeroth. Welcome!

Unfortunately, our guest this evening had a schedule conflict, so we’ll be chatting amongst ourselves shortly, but first, let’s cover this week’s news…

The Summer of Love events are coming up for AIE in all the games, here’s a quick rundown of everything currently planned (subject to change, void where prohibited, yadda yadda yadda)

SWTOR

MFN is on Tuesday at 9 pm EST and will be on the Imperial side.

PTS is open to the public and some scheduled PvP playtesting is going on with devs in-game incognito and some of the AIE folks have been participating in said activities.

The Escape Pod Cast did a podcast from inside the new PvP focused stronghold on Rishi on the PTS. Since then, they are continuing to develop and make updates rapidly to respond to feedback. There’s an AIE PTS guild and we have the Stronghold fully unlocked for it for anyone that wants to get in and check it out.

ESO

A reminder that MFN for ESO are on Friday’s at 9pm EST and are usually streamed on the AIE Twitch channel, https://twitch.tv/aieguild

And, in ESO general news- With the upcoming Wolfhunter DLC game pack and Update 19, Hircine’s curse has taken hold in Tamriel and beyond. Are you prepared to face the March of Sacrifices and Moon Hunter Keep dungeons? Wolfhunter is coming soon to ESO plus members and in the in game-crown store. The pack will arrive with update 19, a free base-game update for all ESO players. More information is available on elderscrolls.online.com

FFXIV

A reminder that MFN for FFXIV are on Friday’s at 9pm EST as well. As far as game news, there is a producer live letter happening on Monday, July 16th. Please look forward to it.

STO

The Sally Ride is somewhere in game. She was last seen near Narenda, but supposed to move around every so often. If you find the ship hail them and you will get a special admiralty version of the ship.

The summer event is in full swing on Risa. There is a free ship for completing the daily aerial courses. There are all kinds of other events from power board races to sand castle building contests. If you don’t have a power board to use at the fleet colony, now is the time to pick one up.

Why would you want a power board? The fleet colony has a big bay. You can run around it on land, but it is easier to hop on your powerboard and cut across the water. If you are doing the gather missions, you have to go to close to the end of each side, so cutting across the water is the fastest method. And no, you can not swim across.

EVE

EVE continues to be on fire, Goons and TEST are allies again, some Keepstars died this weekend while others were were saved, Space Cadets, Hoplite Fleets, Arms Salesmen… it’s been pretty busy.

And with that, let’s talk about what we have been doing in and out of game, and how we’re getting ready for Battle of Azeroth!

GAME NEWS

Mkallah – Lots of pen and paper roleplaying, D&D, World of Darkness (Mage and Werewolf), City of Mists

Tetsemi – Mage Tower (Protection Warrior), Brawler’s Guild (Rank 8), 14 Horde and 2 Alliance characters through Silithus (got 3 pets), finished Field Medic (First Aid), and got both Nightbourne and High Mountain Tauren allied race armor (for leveling from 20-110).

Mewkow – Working on the mage towers, which means lot of alt gearing. Finally ran through the Retribution pally hidden weapon quest. Pally stuff. Shaman, death knight, profs.
