Raid Finder (and Mythic) difficulty for Crucible of Storms will open next week, April 23. Similar to Battle of Dazar’alor, you will need an average item level of 350 to queue for it. To help ensure players get raid ready, we are increasing the maximum item level for certain World Quests rewards. This will include the following:

World Quest rewards will go up to ilvl 370 (from 360)

Once the update is live it will affect active rewards like the Emissaries, so you may want to plan for when you will turn those in.

Join Noctis, as he and his car, the Regalia, (and maybe some Em-Tees) end up on Eorzea! Go with Noct for another adventure!

As you progress, you will unlock more cosmetic gear to give you the Noct look, and it is dyeable as well.

Completing the little story will unlock the Regalia, for 200,000 MGP (Manderville Gold Saucer Points), along with a Noctis hairstyle and Noctis Triple Triad card.

Need some help with grinding out the MGP? The AIE Discord channel for FFXIV has been hopping with ideas and assistance in getting the MGP needed. Fashion Evaluations, Chocobo racing, challenge logs are just a few ideas. To assist, the FC will be running the Jackpot buff this weekend, to give you a bonus to all gained MGP.

For the FFXV music lovers, you will also be able to acquire some of the tunes from FFXV to play in your personal room, inn, or house if you have it. There are 6 orchestral rolls, and they can be purchased after you complete the event story. They cost 1 of the special fate drops in Central Thanalan.

The FC house added a couple of them to the house playlist and we’ll rotate them over time.

Speaking of Orchestral Rolls, Abovan got tired of having so many of the faded rolls in his own inventory. As such, he’s been crafting them into useable rolls and putting them into tab 2 in the FC vault. When he makes others, I’ll keep putting them in there. If you need another orchestral unlock, go ahead and grab one.

Remember the Twitch Prime Loot for FFXIV Starter Edition is still good until May 3rd. Until then, you will be able to get the full license of the base game, levels 1-50, and get 30 days of game time. (Would run you 20 bucks if you wanted to buy it yourself.)

Of course, anyone is welcome to join us. PS4? No problem. Mac? No problem. All editions of the game are on the same servers and can interact with each other. So, don’t have that super-powered PC anymore? A PS4 (even the normal, non-pro) plays the game just fine.

Beginning very soon, players of Star Trek Online will have the opportunity to fly any Tier 6 Starship that they own, regardless of their characters’ levels!

Execute Operation: Riposte!

Operation Riposte is the first major Federation offensive of the Klingon-Federation War of 2256-57. After nearly a month of crushing defeats, the Federation initiates a bold new plan to regain initiative in the war. The planet of Priors World has recently been conquered by the Klingons, but the Federation counter-attack aims to not only wrestle control of that world back into Federation hands, but also to deliver the first major defeat to the Klingons and thereby inject a much needed morale boost back into the ranks of Starfleet.

This event will last for 3 weeks starting on April 18th for PC players, and on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in mid 2019. All players level 10 and above will be able to participate, and can earn a TFO Commendation once every 20 hours.

This event will also debut a brand new system for Star Trek Online. Earn progress toward a Free Ship by participating each day in the Featured TFO Events that will be running from now until Fall of 2019. By playing these three Events, you can earn Coupon Progress Tokens each day, allowing you to eventually claim a ‘100% Discount Coupon: Tier 6 Ship’ that will allow you claim a free Tier 6 Starship of your choice from the Zen Store.

GAME NEWS

Game Update 6.0 has been announced with a release date of September 2019! It’s called Onslaught! There will be five new levels, a new operation, a new flashpoint, 2 new planets and a new zone in an original planet (Corellia), new itemization, new set bonuses, and a new tactical item that will have a special effect to customize your gameplay. Bioware is looking for ideas for tactical items, so go to the forums and suggest your ideal item. No idea is too crazy they said! Challenge accepted!

April MEGA – Ossus Takeover! Marcus led a combined group of AIEers and community members to victory over two World Ossus Bosses and the Hive of the Mountain Queen. Fun and crystals were had by all!
