SWTOR
Game:
Game update 5.10.3 was pushed out one week to June 4th. The Pirate Incursion event that it introduces will run for two weeks, along with a 1 week double xp event.
The livestream promised for 5/30 went off without a single power outage or cut fiber. Eric, Keith, and Charles talked in great detail about how gearing is going to work in Onslaught (the expansion coming in October). Guild:
MFN on Tuesdays, every Tuesday. Depending on what we do, you may need to be level 50+ to attend in game, but if you are not that high level yet, come join us in discord and chat with us anyway.
June MEGA is coming up! June 14th. Marcus will lead us to victory against the Ancient Threat–a mysterious and powerful entity hidden away on Yavin IV.
FFXIV
Live Letter 51 has dropped. As in dropped the mic, off the table, into a pool of water, with mic-eating bacteria.
TL;DR/L:
6 New Zones
1 New Major City – The Crystarium
2 New Jobs – Gunbreakers (Tank) and Dancer (Ranged DPS)
New Level Cap of 80
Many new job and gameplay adjustments
Long Version:
New Fate System!
In the new Shadowbringers area, fates will reward tokens that can be turned in for special rewards.
Side Quests
All side quests in Shadowbringers are leveled synced for your current level, starting at 70. Even the quest mobs will be synced, much like leves.
Crafting and Gathering Quests
Story based quests for artisans
Will expand on the story and the world of “The First”
Cross-world Linkshells
Expanded to 8 channels, instead of just one.
All AIE members on Goblin should of received an invite to the CrossWorld Linkshell. If not, let us know and we can get you one.
If you are on the Crystal data center, but not in AIE, we would be happy to send you an invite to talk with AIE folk. Just let an officer know or drop on down to the #ffxiv channel in Discord.
Housing items can now be previewed!(FC Housing Manager position still open!)
New Interrupt system
If a skill can be interrupted, you will see the enemy cast bar pulse. You will also see visual feedback that the cast was interrupted.(Much like WoW’s button flashing when you can interrupt)
MP and TP Systems.
The TP is gone!
MP will be capped at 10,000. Skills will use a percentage of your MP, just as it always have. Now the math is easy.
Pet System Redo
Pets are no longer targetable or hurt by enemies or PC actions
Pet actions are removed from pet hotbars because they will be recategorized as normal actions
Pet roles will be revised
A single button will use similar skills, depending on what pet is summoned.
Tank Roles-Biggest change is changing tank stance to an threat generating only stance.
Healer Roles-Healers will be refocused back on a more pure healing role, rather than the hybrid DPS they are now.
DPS Roles-Most DPS roles will have a similar feel, but Machinist is almost like a new job.
Tetsemi- ESO
Elswyer is in early access and so far AIE members have been having a lot of fun creating necromancer toons and slaying dragons. The Dragon fights are world bosses on steroids. It take a lot of people to kill one, but the loot makes it worth the repair bill. We did a couple of the intro quests for the zone for MFN and without spoiling anything, there are a couple of call backs to the main story line which is nice.
MFN happens at 9pm est every Friday night, depending on attendance we do dungeon runs, zone clears, and now possibly dragon hunting.
STO
STO wants to remind you that they are having their normal MFN tonight at 830 Eastern(Right now!)
They are still working on the Fleet Spire and Colony, feel free to hop in to help.
EVE
