Raid Team Recruitment

Horseshoes & Handgrenades(H&H) is a late night heroic raiding team in the dignitas sub-guild. We raid Mondays and Thursdays from 11:55pm to 2am ET(Server time), with a couple nights of M+ dungeoning on the side. We are always looking for people that enjoy a bit of challenge in the heroic scene without getting too stressed about burning through the highest content. At the moment, we are hunting for Healers and DPS, but could always use tankable classes for backups or M+ runs. Feel free to reach out if you have questions.

Hell Froze Over: Hell Froze Over is a casual raid group with the following goal of Fun>Loot, Camaraderie>Progression, Pirates>Ninjas, and Crispy>Wiggly. Friday nights, we begin invites around 7:45 pm with a goal to pull trash at 8:00 pm. We take breaks at the top of each hour and end the raid at 11:00 pm. All times are EST. We encourage people to bring the class they enjoy most. Have friends on other realms? No problem. We have several team members in other realms. We do ask that you keep your hands and feet inside the raid at all times. horns tooting minions cheering.

AIE Alliance on Earthing Ring-US, will be coming up on it’s 2-year anniversary this March. Please share any ideas you have on how we can celebrate, let Fez, Sy, or Gusty know.

We continue to get new people who are either coming back to the game after many years gap, are Horde friends checking out the Alliance side, or some people who are new to WoW or looking for a family friendly casual environment to play in.

Mythic runs happen weekly to help folks see content and gear up for raid.

Remember you can always find the AIE guild officers in Discord in the #lfo channel or by pinging them @officers. You can always request WoW guild invites via the in-game system by searching “alea iacta est”, even if there are no officers online. Just remember, you have to go back to Guilds & Communities (J) to accept the invite once an officer approves it.

STO

STO is in it’s 11th anniversary. The event includes a special Klingon Recruit, with several account-level unlocks, a Tier-6 Ship reward, a new party popper, and an easy way to unlock additional emotes. The event lasts until the 25th.

SWTOR

Let’s get ready to RUMMMBLLLLLE!!

This week AIE in SWTOR is battling to win a planet. This meta-game is available only a few times a year and we are going all out. For perspective, AIE Guildies have put over 85m (placeholder number) points on the scoreboard, which is many times what we normally do. We are in the lead on our chosen planet of Ziost, but the second place guild has not stopped pressing, so neither will we! MFN, MEGA, Ops teams, as well as other organized and semi-organized activities were all geared and aimed toward this one goal. Every day play counts too, in any style and in any amount.

As for game news, there is new patch coming in a week or so, but who can even think about that. More about it later!

If you have a swtor character, log in, jump over to the pub side, say hi and possibly shoot a few things. Or throw pebbles at them. The week won’t be over until early Tuesday morning.

FFXIV

FFXIV Patch 5.5 Part 1 is releasing April 13th! This will be part 1 of the story leading into the next expansion named Endwalker.

In days long ago and almost forgotten, Hydaelyn nearly fell to an event called the Final Days, and those days are once again upon us. Endwalker releases in Fall 2021.

Endwalker will contain all new zones and two new jobs. The Sage, a healing class that uses barriers to protect their allies and can augment their magical attacks using a weapon difficult to describe in words but awesome none-the-less. A new Melee DPS will also be released, though we only have vague hints on what it will be. Current consensus seems that it will involve wielding a scythe in heavy armor!

AIE Free Company events in AIE continues:

Every saturday at 9:30pm eastern we’re still doing map night, where we dive into treasure dungeons for phat lewtz

Thursdays at 9pm eastern we hit the fields of Bozja to fight the Garlean Empire and empower this expansion’s relic weapons. If you havent started it yet, now is the perfect time to join!

A group is exploring Heavens on High on Sunday nights, the randomized endless dungeon released with Stormblood. If you’re currently making your way through, hit us up!

February 12th for the next dungeons and more night and it is also the Lunar New Year event in GW2, running until the 21st.

LOTRO

We have been hanging out in voice while leveling some toons. All are welcome to hangout with us.

We also went back into PvMP and had some really good fights.

We will be running some group stuff this Saturday for marks

We also will be returning to Monster Play on February 20th. Join us in showing the Freeps who is boss.

Small bug fix patch should be coming sometime this week

GAME NEWS

There was a recent Global Reveal event to reveal the Gates of Oblivion year-long adventure. The adventure starts with the Flames of Ambition DLC on March 8th for PC/Mac and March 16th for Xbox/Playstation. It will have two new dungeons – The cauldron where you will be trying to stop a deadly ritual and Black Drake Villa where you are searching for a book. The new chapter, Blackwood, is scheduled to release on June 1st for PC/Mac and June 8th for Xbox/Playstation. It brings on a new region and new Daedric threats to face and overcome.
