Fleet Action Report Ep 33 What to do at max level

Fleet Action Report Ep 33 What to do at max level. Nikodas and Grebog are back with another episode, this time trying to help you figure out what to do at max level.

NOMADS

Outriders is a looter/shooter with strong Gears of War, Destiny, and Mass Effect vibes. It’s developed by People Can Fly and published by Square Enix.

The free demo went live on 25 Feb, will continue past launch on 1 April, and allows for about 3 hours of the full gameplay until level 7 and world tier 5. You can chose from 4 different classes with varying styles of gameplay. It will be fully cross-play with support for PC, Playstation and Xbox.

This game is a day one, fully accessible game, and not “live service.” The level cap is 40/world tier 15 for higher risk and reward, and the end-game consists of 14 “expeditions” (raids) with a special 15th unlocked once you clear them all.

There are a few AIE folks playing the demo, please shout out in the #outriders discord chat for co-op play, or any questions you may have.

AIE has progressed through the Deep Stone Crypt and is currently working on the final boss.

Valheim

The team has set up a couple bases with portal connections. The starting area has a portal directly to the main crafting base. From there, there’s a portal to a swamp hunting lodge. A handful of other bases, huts and mining operations are scattered about as well and everyone is free to build more. A rough map is pinned in the Discord too.

Congrats to the team for taking out both the first and second bosses so far. Each boss increases the difficulty of the game events a bit but also opens up higher tiers of crafting to help progress.

The servers are limited to 10 concurrent players but any number can be popping in and out. We haven’t had more than 6 on at a peak so there’s still more room to grow. The Alpha base has private rooms for 8 people and we could make more..

And… for those not familiar with what we are talking about here, Valheim is an indy survival/building/sandbox game that’s gotten pretty popular. The very small dev team has some plans for additional bosses, zones, weapons, etc. We’ll keep an eye on it as it develops and keep on keeping on with our little world.

MFN, Ops teams, and Friday night activities are purring along. In fact, this Friday, the 12th is MEGA.. Marcus is going to lead us in some guild pvp warzones and Galactic Star Fighter. This is a unique opportunity to play around with pvp without stress and to learn some things about controlling your ship in GSF. We can set up the guild stronghold for pvp and play there, or even create a guild instance of a warzone. Even if you don’t normally pvp, it’s safe to attend. Honest! Well, unless you are Max.

Bozja Front! Beat up the Garlean Empire, cause they got it commin’! Great leveling opportunity for your level 70-80 toons. Never stepped in there before? No worries, as this is a great chance to see what this content is all about. Thursdays at 9pm eastern

Discussion is starting back up to restart the Retro-Raid nights! Get those old raids and see stuff that you may not be able to clear on your own or via the duty finder. We are in the planning and scheduling phases, but we need your help to make sure we make this event available to as many as we can. Make your voices heard on the #ffxiv discord channel.

We also have had a few new folks and returning folks to the game. This is awesome news. Please remember to reach out to the new and returning members. Also, for the new members, speak up! We’d love to show you around the game, make some friends, and have some great adventures along the way.

A few FFXIV announcements and reminders. If you were one of the few lucky ones to get a PS5, the Playstation 5 specific version will be available on April 13th. This is a free upgrade for existing PS4 players. The game plays today on the PS5, but it is the PS4 version. Now, you can actually utilize the power of your PS5! Also on April 13th, we have patch 5.5. Last part of the Dark Apocalypse 24-player raid series.

We do have some small information on our next expansion, Endwalker! Details are limited now, but more information will be released during the all digital, Fan Fest Online, May 15-16.

There have been several conversations recently regarding leveling and skills. Feel free to ask questions or join in the conversations in discord

There is normally at least one death caused by gravity due to Dankinia leading people off cliffs

The first DLC for the Gates of Oblivion yearlong even comes out on March 8th on PC and March 16th on consoles. There will be two new dungeons as part of this DLC. As usual, the first MFN after the release will be spent exploring the dungeons together.

Update 29 comes out on March 8th on PCs and March 16th on consoles which will overhaul the Champion points system. As part of this overhaul, there will be a forced reset of all skill points and champion points.

There will be a free pet in the crown store to claim and for two weeks after the forced reset all re-specs will be free so you can try out new builds, make adjustments, and get used to the new system.

On March 17th the bonus mount and pet you get for pre-ordering the next chapter, Blackwood, will no longer be offered and Blackwood is still scheduled to come out in June.

The first event working towards that is the Voth Advance, where running one of the two TFO s will give you credit and after 14 daily competing Molor’s flaming sword.

As for the fleet, we are still making great progress on the federation side. We are closing in on finishing the K-13 space station and the colony is nearing the Kentari bridge officers unlock.

KDF side (klingon defense force) is making strides at pushing up the dilithium mine and unlocking the discounts to all the costs of the fleet projects.

Next weekend is the + 25% xp bonus so we will be looking to once again help people level their toons

We expect that within the next 2 week to have the producer’s letter and Update 29
