The server merge to Valhalla went smoothly a few weeks back and things are mostly quiet as the community waits for updates and new content to shake things up. We have a handful of players that log in a couple times a week though so if anyone did want to try it out or get something going they can post up in the channel and rally the troops.

WoW

Alliance Team Hell Froze Over began Heroic Sepulcher this week, downing 2 bosses. Their progression team So Let’s Go Skating has Heroic Halon-druss (aka Murder Crab) on the menu tonight. Oh, last minute update, they are currently enjoying those crab cakes!!!

Noob Raid took out one boss in Sepulcher and the weekly world boss. A few more experienced raiders would make a big difference to our scrappy Guild runs. Oh and in case you are wondering, Kini has tanked the floor 75 times so far this year.

Alliance side is also highly active in Mythic Plus runs and we’re working to spread some of that to energy to the Horde, with Midnight Mythics 2-3 nights a week. Mythics are a great way to gear and increasingly vital to WoW endgame activities.

WoW Classic

Sunwell Plateau (the last raid of Burning Crusade) is open and its difficulty (it is the un-nerfed version) has surprised many players, used to steamroll the rest of the expansion

Dungeon nights on Sunday and Wednesday continue as well!

SWTOR

MFNs continue to run on Tuesdays nights. Ideas about what to do for MFN nights are welcome!

May the 4th brought a new companion pet, the P1-XL Probe Droid, and a week of double XP.

We have Ops opportunities on two of our teams. If you want to give Ops a try, give a shout out in discord. Specifically, that would be Albuspuer for TACO (Sunday nights, 7:30-9:30 Central, Imp side) and Balto for Where’s the Cantina (Monday nights, 7:30 Central, Pub side).

ESO

FFXIV

AIE is also hosting Sprout Raids on Thursday nights at 10pm EST. These raids will vary in levels, as we go through all of the 24-player raids in each expansion. So far, we have completed all of the Crystal Tower and the Shadow of Mhach raid series. Currently, we are working on the Rabanastre raid series. We completed The Royal City of Rabanastre last week and will be moving on to The Ridorana Lighthouse. We look forward to all of you “prime” people there on Thursday for another fun spout raid. (The joke is that one boss can tell you to stand in prime numbers to avoid getting hit from his attack. Yes, FFXIV has a math boss.)

Thursday nights at 11pm is fun night. Next week we plan on having a KDF fun night. Let everyone get their KDF captains out and get them some fresh air and exercise.

Heart of the Storm event is going on now. It has a great ground set. May be the best in game.

Next episode Nikodas and Grebog will be back on their new character challenge captains to hit level 60 and maybe push for 65 while live. We will also discuss all the new unlocks at level 60 and 65.

GW2

Currently the guild is working on upgrading the tavern which will allow for better guild wide buffs. We are in need of Empty Kegs, or the materials to craft them, (See Pinned post in discord). We also need bottles of Elonian Wine (or the gold to purchase them), and lots of Elder wood planks, Mithril Bars and Varies Leather Squares.

Jehdai is still looking at getting strikes going once more people get through the story. Mandatory Fun Nights are Mondays at 9:30 eastern, as well as dungeons and more happen monthly.

And with that, let’s get back to Dankinia and find out what’s going on in Elder Scrolls Online (ESO).

GAME NEWS

The Elder Scrolls Online: High Isle comes out June 6 for PC/Mac and June 21 for consoles. High Isle is the newest chapter and we get to dive into the culture of the Bretons with a zone main story, six new delves and world bosses, two new public dungeons, a new trial, two new companions, and a deckbuilding game called Tales of Tribute where you can play against other players and npcs and earn things like furniture and cosmetics. And of course there will be new gear and collectibles. I’m hoping at least one of the new companions won’t get upset when you use the Blade of Woe like the two current companions do.

When it launches we will also get Update 34 which is a base game patch. Some of the changes will be the ability to include Mundus Stones in your saved armory builds, a new Quick Select Wheel on PC, and of course I expect to see some changes to abilities and gear based on the notes I’ve seen about the PTS.

What’s a good Addon Manager for ESO? – Minion is what pretty much all of us use for Addons in ESO. It is pretty simple to set up and keep updated. The downside, is it won’t automatically install any library dependencies when you install the add on so you have to make sure you install them as well.

What Addons do you recommend? – So many.
