New World
The Brimstone Sands release is live and pretty well received. We have a handful of people logging in to check it out.
If you haven’t logged in in the last 8 months you may have been moved off the AIE Valhalla server and may need to request they move you back. This is part of their effort to reduce server queues and balance populations.
WoW
There is an exp boost happening now so time to level your alts before the new expansion. Phase 1 of the pre-patch is October 25th which will bring system changes such as new talent trees and new race/class combos. Phase 2 is November 15th and will bring the new Dracthyr Evoker Race/class combo with their new starting zone as well as a new dungeon and the primal storm event.
Last Noob Raid of the year due to holidays and the expansion will be November 19th. Noob Raid will resume on January 7, 2023. Dankinia is looking forward to floor tanking a new raid for you all in the new year
WoW Classic
#10forWrath #Akela’sWrath has its 1st 10 man raid Saturday night at 10 server time. We are planning on Obsidian Sanctum with no drakes, and then moving on to Naxx. I will update more tomorrow morning on how it goes!
Update on Akela’s Wrath: Downed Sarth in Obsidian Sanctum with no issues, and rolled to NAXX, cleared the spider wing, the Undead wing, and got 3 of 4 down in the construct wing. Tonight is Last boss in the construct wing, and then the military quarter. Gear was acquired, and fun was had

7.1.1 is here. It brought:
– class balance changes that everyone is still trying out.
– Galactic Season 3, which brings daily and weekly quests for fun and rewards.
ESO
Cool things the guild has been doing:
– We’ve been running around killing bosses and collecting crow feathers for the Witches Festival
– Our first Tales of Tribute Tournament has ended after 6 weeks of exciting matches over 2 million in gold has been paid out to the players. The tournament ended with DPRoberts and Kini tied for first followed by Newtype, Redstick, Malakyi and Bashirra, Tetsemi, and Darklightwolf
Things planned or coming up for the guild:
– BC has decorated their primary residence for the fall season and stashed pumpkins throughout for a fall themed pumpkin hunt. The 10 guild members with the closest guess to how many pumpkins he has hidden will win a halloween themed prize and a gold prize. In order to join in the hunt, visit BC’s primary residence and try to count all the pumpkins you manage to find and then send a discord DM to BC with your guess prior no later than October 31st. For more information, check out the ESO channel in discord.
Game News:
– The Witches Festival is running until Wednesday November 2nd at 10 am EST. There is a 100% exp buff from using the Crow Caller tool that stacks with experience scrolls. You can earn event tickets and loot boxes to earn style pages, motifs, and pet fragments.
FFXIV
Level 90 Map night continues every Saturday at 9:30 eastern. We also have Retro Maps happening every Sunday at 4pm Eastern!
FFXIV’s All Saints Wake is ongoing! Come check out one of FFXIV’s best events following the ongoing story of the Phantom Trope and the Night of Devilry. Can you prevent their dastardly plan and make this All Saint’s Wake merry for both man and voidsent alike? You need to be level 15 but it’s available in the free trial!
Sunday, November 6, at 4PM Eastern the FF14 Retro Treasure Map group will be running Shadowbringers treasure maps. Anyone who is level 80 and has access to all Shadowbringers zones is welcome to join. Sahja Moshraka/Elaine of Shallot can be contacted either in discord or in game if anyone has any questions. Butter up your lovely branch so that RNG will be in our favor as we scour the Dungeons and the shifting Oubliettes of Lyhe Ghiah in search of gil and glam!

Fun nights are on Thursday at 11pm Eastern.
Fleet Action Report had a lot of fun with the fleet week special event and our special stream. We would like to thank AIE for helping make it successful. This Monday’s episode we are entering the workshop and helping Rmurray put together a Fire-at-will build.
GW2
Shadow of the Mad King the Halloween (Oct 18th – Nov 8) event is now running. This drops some excellent (exotic stat settable) gear. The WvW alliances test has been extended for a week because the beta test achievement (5 captures or defenses) was bugged. As always, AIE Xiphos is there to help if you want to see why GW2 has thrived for a decade. MFN is on Mondays at 9pm ET, dungeons and more nights is the 2nd Friday of each month. Still looking for materials for the guild hall, see @jehdai for details.
The WvW beta has not been extended, but the achievement is still there. Not sure if it is active now, or you have to wait for the next beta.
LOTRO
This week we saw the first look at Before the Shadow expansion on Bullroarer. Some of us are testing stuff on Bullroarer to avoid any spoilers that the new expansion might bring. Before the Shadow is open it is expected to go live on November 8th. Harvestmath is live right now so go check out the haunted burrow at the party tree. Lastly don’t forget to use coupon code FreeQuests2022 by the end of October for some free content.
