This week the Trial of Style event was live and lots of fun was had with guildies in this fast-paced fashion competition. There were new categories this year, such as Going Green, Profession Expression, Gothic Gala and Expedition: Catwalk. Sadly, we can’t queue as mixed Horde and Alliance groups yet, but Pepe was there to support both factions.
PS Is that Gustytail wielding Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker? Why yes, yes it is!
Raid Team news: Noob Raid took down the first 3 bosses in Vault of the Incarnates and made good progress on a fourth – Dathea. Go Noob Raid! The Filthy Casuals defeated Normal Razza-geth and 2 bosses on Heroic.
On Alliance side, Hell Froze Over downed Heroic Kurog (the coffee boss) and progression team So Let’s Go Skating is working on Heroic Raz for their Ahead of the Curve Achievement.
We’re looking for DM’s for a Week of One-Shots, Dungeons and Dragons guild event at the end of April. Visit the tabletop-rpg channel in AIE Discord for more info and tag Gustytail if you’re interested. Our DM’s will be receiving a hand-painted mini as a thank you gift, courtesy of Lanctharus. (Oh hey Lanc, maybe you can talk more about this later.)
WoW Classic
Still working on clearing Ulduar, been a busy few weeks for the team, but we are still around. Still waiting on word of when ToC is hitting, but we are still having fun!
SWTOR
In SWTOR, the guild won its Total Galactic War battle and now everyone who participated can display their new title of “Conqueror of Ossus”. Additionally, as you zone into Ossus, you see a banner message stating that AIE is the current conqueror of the planet.
7.2.1, which among many other things will bring Galactic Season 4, will be dropping on 3/28. This is also the update that will bring the 64 bit client, so we are expecting a bigger than normal download that day.

ESO
Cool things the guild has been doing:
– The last couple of weeks have been spent working our way through the two new dungeons in preparation for the next Chapter release.
Things planned or coming up for the guild:
– The next couple of MFNs will be focused on the upcoming Jester’s Festival. We will group up to do the daily quests and take advantage of the XP boost.
Game News:
– The Jester’s Festival runs from March 29th to April 6th and in addition to the event XP boost there will be event specific quests to earn Festival Boxes full of loot and event tickets
– The next chapter, Necrom, will be out June 5th for PC/Mac and June 20 for consoles
FFXIV
Keep an eye out for the FC run of the second return to Ivalice raid. Caztiel be announcing the date soon
STO
The Fleet is closing in on finishing its last project. This will complete all the Fleet Holdings and give our players access to all the fleet goodies.
STO Is currently running its second event in the year-long campaign. This event focuses on the Voth and rewards a Universal Kit – Voth Battlesuit. This one is gonna be fun! Don’t miss it!
Fleet Action Report, a AIE-Related STO Video Podcast, runs Monday Nights at 10pm. This is live streamed, then later posted to YouTube. All episodes can be found on our website, http://fleetactionreport.com/
Fleet Fun Night runs Thursdays at 10pm. We will help players level, run TFOs, run events, or anything else players want or need. The fun happens at http://twitch.tv/grebog
LOTRO
Update 35 was released on Wednesday. With the update we return to Carn Dûm, as well as new instances for small and fellowships. Also the captains, hunters and wardens trait pouts have been reset. Along with the other fun class changes that a new update always brings.
Carn Dum has received a major refresh in Update 35. Check your mail for the starter quest!
