NOMADS
Blizzcon 2023 has been announced for November 3 and 4th, no details on virtual ticket, bands, etc., but keep an eye out on Discord for watch events and/or in game get togethers.
Also, Summer of Love is being worked on, and usually happens around the first week in August, so again, Discord, eyes, keep watch.
Diablo IV will be launching with early access on June 1st, and normal access on June 5th.
Lost Ark
Interest and participation in Lost Ark has greatly waned some time ago. Only a handful of people have logged in for the last 6 months. Membership was also greatly reduced through inactivity.
The AIE Communitas guild has been evacuated and will be sunsetted.
Should interest rekindle over time, we may revisit the game in the future.
By week’s end this channel will also be archived and discussion for the game can still be done through #nomads
New World
Similar to our shift of Lost Ark to the Nomads channels, I think we’ll be doing the same with these New World channels as well. We’ll hold the in-game company for now but may remove old, unplayed characters before long too in order to simplify company management.
Let us know if you have any questions. We can always spin things back up and open the section back up in Discord if things get busy.
WoW
Noob Raid attempted to tackle the final boss in Vault of the Incarnates this week. We were unsuccessful, but will try again next weekend.
That’s not to say Noob Raid didn’t do well! We tackled Broodkeeper for the first time and killed her in very few pulls!
In HFO news, the group is continuing progress on Normal Aberrus with two new boss kills this week, making the group 7/9 in normal mode! And had its highest turn out in a long time (maybe ever!) with 27 people in attendance.
WoW Classic
ToC is on the PTR, Stale-puft continues to raid Ulduar, as we gear up our newest victims, oh wait recruits! We are hoping for a Cataclysm expansion announcement at Blizzcon. Beyond that, life is good in Classic!
SWTOR
Hello Darkness, my old friend. The new flashpoint – The Shrine of Silence – is up on the public test server with new art for the final boss. Think Groot, but really, really murderous. We don’t have a date for its release yet, but it’s not far off.
Join us on Tuesday nights for MFN, Wednesdays for friendly, slightly spicy, mildly organized PvP, and Fridays for some form of Pew Pew – most likely space ships in space.
ESO
Cool things the guild has been doing:
– We’ve been working on Trials again and having a lot of fun doing so even though we usually have less than 12 people.
Things planned or coming up for the guild:
– Tales of Tribute Tournament 3 is now open for signups! To sign up just let us know in the talks of tribute channel in the ESO tab or you can send me a DM in discord at Kraemer29. There are only a few rules that need to be followed in order to participate 1 you must be an AIE guild member. 2 you must own the high isle chapter or higher and have access to tales of tribute. 3 you must have fun. 4 you must have completed the starter quest, if you need help finding the quest just ask we will be willing to help you out. The tournament will run for 4 weeks with a break for the 4th of July. The start will be on Monday June 19th 2023 and the 4th of July break will be July 3rd and the tournament will start its second half on July 10th . we currently have 6 people signed up and would love more. The tournament will once again pay out to the top 10 places, there will be a total of 7.25 million in gold in prizes. Once again we wish all our card players the best of luck.
Game News:
– The next chapter, Necrom, will be out June 5th for PC/Mac and June 20 for consoles
FFXIV
June 4th is the FC run of the final stormblood alliance raid, and with the new patch coming out Tuesday there’s been a TON of upgrades to island sanctuaries, story content, and battle crafted gear, so if anyone needs any help with anything or has questions I’m almost always around to help.
The FC house has a new beach front exterior for the summer! Come by and check it out, I (Jess) had fun putting it together.
STO
STO Is running the following two sales!
Vanity Shields for Dilithium until tomorrow
Save on Legendary Items until tomorrow
The Current in-game event, Looming Threats, is still active. This rewards a new Tetryon-based space set
The new content drop, Unraveled, is active. This story is based on the consequences of time and dimensional travel. Something our character is responsible for, and the Tholians are trying to fix.
The fleet has completed its last holding. We now have access to every fleet holding, resources, items, and ship. Come see what we’ve accomplished!
LOTRO
We have some events, first the buried treasure event is going on through May 29th . Time to be working toward those treasure mounts. Next we have the Midsummer Festival to celebrate the wedding of Middle Earth’s power couple Aragorn and Arwen. So, throw off the armour, adorn yourself in your fancy duds and only raise you weapons in salute from June 8th – July 4th. Finally, there is the event that everyone can’t wait until it returns, yes that’s right, Chicken Hockey aka Hobnanigans is back from June 1st – June 4th.
And with that, let’s get back to US and talk about cons!.
