In the wake of the news that Washington's Metro system is almost broke, Maryland transit advocates are pushing a new statewide transit plan as a "wedge issue" for the 2018 gubernatorial election. However these transit activists fail to understand that their hypothetical system already exists, and they certainly seem to have no cares about the damaging impacts it would have on Marylanders to redirect necessary highway spending to unnecessary transit projects.
