The Album Crawl

It's the last episode we will put out for a while. We went with something special.

Strap in for a wild ride.

We don't cover much EDM ground on this podcast so we were very excited when our friend Eric picked this album for this very special guest episode! Crawl with us through Porter's many high's and lows of fame and creativity. This is a great one!

It's time to get groovy on a metaphysical level. Let the sweet, warm water of Stevie Wonder wash you away in transcendental peace in his wonderful album Innervisions.

It's time to get a little dreamy here on the album crawl. This episode were crawling through Frank Ocean's debut album, Channel Orange. We'll go through his sentimental lyrics, hazy production, and the sprawl of LA.

You know you've been holding in some grief or regret for too long! It's time to crawl through those emotions with us as we listen through Sampha's wonderful debut album Process. In this episode we go through dense layers of music as well as lyrics of man struggling with his place in the world and his own decisions.

Ga ga! Goo goo! You know how babies talk! Also, you know they're favorite utensil is the Spoon! In honor of all babies everywhere we are covering Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga by Spoon. This is a fun indie rock record from the mid 2000's. It's perfect at being just that. Crawl with us through these white space using funky beats!

It time to pack your things and get the hell out of where you are. Its an Exodus! Were hanging with Bob Marley this week so sit back and light some insence, it's going to be a jamming time.

The bass! Outer space! Three stacks!!  It's time to get groovy and eat some grits over here at the album crawl. We are tackling the critically acclaimed southern rap milestone ATLiens by Outkast. Crawl with us as we attempt to understand, sometimes literally, what is going on in this masterpiece.
