"The Alchemical Wedding; Part 1: Blackening

In the second episode of the Brubaker Brothers' The Variance Engine series, 1 Year as a Woman, I go into detail on some of the experiences of the first few weeks/months of my hormone replacement therapy. Some of the stuff is heavy, there is talk about mental health issues and suicidal ideation, drug use, and swears. During the latter portion of the episode I do the best I can to retell the experiences of a lucid dream that I had in a library rife with deeper symbolism that becomes critical in some of the future portions of the story. 

With the gravity of the story and with respect to the process, I have split this part of the series up into multiple episodes. Hopefully although shorter than the last episode, it is as impactful to the overall story moving forwards. 

Thanks to all the patrons who have jumped up to this tier to hear my story. I honestly can't express just how important creating this has been to me, and to see that people actually want to hear it makes it even more humbling.
