He became the first IBL player to be drafted to a professional contract in the US. He is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego and played two professional seasons in Germany and one in Australia before joining the IBL for its inaugural season. Nowadays he is a environmental activist who is challenging the legislators to take immediate action against climate change. He is the Executive Director for Sustainable Coastlines were he continues to make an impact on the environment and the community. He is Rafael Bergstrom.
