Jesus is our compassionate Saviour who endured hardships just as we do. He can sympathize with us because He also faced suffering while He was on earth. Sorrow, grief and pain are not a concept to Him; He experienced it. The Lord knows what it is like to be alone, to be betrayed, to be rejected and deserted. We can approach Him with confidence knowing that He cares for us.
