Logline: The waitress suspects her chef boyfriend is cheating when he starts acting suspicious, only to learn he was helping her dad disprove a rival's claim about paternity.

Episode 4 Summary:

April notices Dan coming home late and acting odd, making her think he's cheating. She sees Dan having lunch with rival Linda's daughter Sarah. April tells her mom Veronica she'll break up with Dan. But Dan reveals he was only getting close to Sarah to obtain a hair sample for April's dad Henry to disprove Linda's claim that Sarah is Henry's daughter.

April is hurt Dan kept it secret instead of trusting her. She breaks up with him but later regrets it. Dan surprises April with a romantic setup to apologize. When April's parents conveniently leave town, the makeup takes an intimate turn.
