The

silver season of the Race starts again where it all started – New

York City. After the 11 new teams are introduced (along with a new

race element), they fly to St. Thomas, where they travel by seaplane

and boat to a secluded shore where they must dig for a buried

treasure. Three teams decide to employ a strategy used in a previous

season to race for the pit stop at Fort Christian, where the strategy

backfires for one unfortunate pair, leaving a field of ten teams to

continue on the race to $1,000,000.
