I wish I could have talked to this caller,  because what he needs is encouragement to take his big leap. Go all in on what he enjoys doing and leverage NWM, by serving his customers. So how could he do that with NWM?....   First off, I have an observation about a certain thing that's prevalent in MLM... If your Network Marketing company sells physical products, then the focus should be on retail.   This is where the Amazon blueprint comes in.... The problem with most MLM sites.
  • They are “business opportunity” focused instead of product focused.
  • There isn't much about how their product can solve your problems..no testimonials, etc.
  • They are unappealing to the eye/busy/underwhelming, confusing to navigate and littered with MLM lingo that no one understands.
What most really good MLM sites look like:
  • User friendly!
  • Simple navigation.
  • Eye appealing.
  • Retail focused (no “opportunity” or “join” tabs)
  • Two prices [one time or subscription purchase]
  • No pv, gv, cv, or other MLM acronyms that no one understands.
  • Clear product info.
  • Reviews, suggested products and testimonials.
  • Free or reduced shipping options.
  • It looks clean, and the experience is as simple and enjoyable as shopping on Amazon!
That’s why I love the MLM I’m in...for all of the reasons above!   If your MLM’s site isn’t optimized like this, here’s what you do.
  • First off, at the end of the day, a great product is all that matters.
  • Order for your customer (Caution:possible conflicts with back office policies). 
  • Have a custom domain redirect to product page. Or url shortener to product page.
  • Personal and customer testimonials on either your site, social media site or FB product specific page.
  • “People love to buy, they hate being sold”. Make the buying experience for your customer, the best they can have.
  • Create promotions/offers.
  So those are things I believe every NWM company should consider ....because it’s all about the customer and the experience they have with you. Something VERY important I need to address   Think bigger than the MLM you’re with.
  • Its ok if you’ve switched companies or chased opportunities. Don’t let anyone tell you you’re wrong for doing that. There’s a lot of company-switching shaming going on.
  • If you have an entrepreneurial spirit, of course you’ll chase opportunities! You can’t help it. 
  • It's ok to experience, learn, fail...that’s what life is about. Would you rather pursue and fail or not pursue and have regret? You may not know until you try it.
  • YOU are the brand. Not your MLM. I see the TOP earners, coaches and self-made entrepreneurs who created massive success and I have no idea what MLM they’re in unless I really dig and snoop...or ask.
  • Brand yourself. Your who, what, how is your brand. That’s your money maker. Think bigger than what your MLM company has setup for you. Think BIG! Promote YOURSELF and your purpose, not your MLM!
