He was born into destitution. He received his first job at the age of 15. He married his teacher and when he heard the library of Congress was on fire, he ran down to help quench it. He protected the Hawaiian island from being taken over by France, and his presidency was inadvertent. His name is Millard Fillmore and he’s our nation’s 13th President.
