Larrie D. Ferreiro FRHistS is the director of research at the Defense Acquisition University in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, and Adjunct Professor of History at George Mason University. He is the author of the award-winning Ships and Science (MIT Press), Brothers in Arms, a Pulitzer Prize finalist in History, and Churchill’s American Arsenal.
