Remembering Bill Paxton, Ed Garvey, Judge Joseph Wapner

Bill Paxton was an actor who was featured in many of the most familiar movies of our generation including Aliens (1986), Apollo 13 (1995), Twister (1996), and Titanic (1997). As a boy in Fort Worth, he was taken to see President Kennedy who would travel to Dallas later that morning on November 22, 1963. Ed Garvey was the brilliant lawyer who led the National Football League Players Association from 1971- 1983. For 12 years from 1981- 1993, Joseph Wapner was the judge on the popular television show The People’s Court, the forerunner of today’s court television shows.
