Time and time again people misunderstand how we feel about them. A friend asks if we’re upset with them. No! A co-worker asks if we think they are good at what they do. Yes! Our partner asks if we think they are attractive. Of course!

We don’t understand why that person would ever ask that. Or how they got the impression we would ever think otherwise?
