Kari is a Christian Women’s business coach who helps women to use the gifts and talents God has given them for purpose and impact in their businesses. Kari’s journey is evidence that once you nail your niche and unlock the audience you were meant to be sharing to, everything can change.

In this episode, we talk about how healed people heal people– we have to do the work within ourselves before we can help others, how taking messy action can change your life, and about developing a relationship with God so that we can discern his will and desires for our lives.

Kari reminds us that we shouldn’t keep so busy that we miss out on checking in with ourselves and with God–that’s a great way to get lost.

The Take Bold Action Challenge for today is to get quiet and seek the Lord. Find the space where you can connect with God and be in His presence– whether that’s nature, or quiet time in your home– and spend time in scripture, talking to God and asking Him what He has for you.

She shares about stepping into your true identity by disrupting the negative self-talk, setting aside selfish thoughts so that you can show up to impact others, and how not to fade into the background when you are entering “the old boys club.”

On this week’s episode of The Andrea Engstrom Show, I am back with my lovely co-host Brenda and we are talking about how to be tenacious!

Our Take Bold Action Challenge for you this week is to go back to the one thing that caused you to shut down– what stole your fire? Let’s revisit it– ask yourself: have I explored it fully? Could I take one more step?

For me, it has meant being able to move my family to Colorado, to a little mountain town.

For Brenda, it’s getting to spend the summer in Tuskegee, in the community she’s had the opportunity to invest her time and money into!

In this episode, Brenda and I talk about how we got to this place of getting to live out our dreams, being willing to make the hard calls in our own lives, and how to invest your time and energy so that it will serve you better.

On today’s episode Rachel shares part of the story of how she eventually made the decision to build her business coaching others in their relationships. In today’s episode of The Andrea Engstrom Show, I am chatting with my fabulous co-host Brenda Stroud about what it has looked like to be a mission investor in an underserved community.

Brenda talks about how she desired to do more than generate income–she wanted to create impact in a community that desperately needed someone to invest, not just their money but their time and care.

In this episode, we discuss what it takes to be a mission investor, what it can look like when you have the courage to speak up, reach out, and invest in the real people of a community. Brenda also talks about the importance of doing your research and knowing the market you are entering into. As Brenda always says; be ready and willing to pivot!

1st: Before anything else: take a breath and don’t be so hard on yourself.

2nd: Ask yourself what do I care about and how can I add value?

3rd: What are the gifts and talents you are overlooking? Are you really giving yourself a fair shot?
