As Los Angeles begins to recover and rebuild after the wildfires, the City and County Councils are taking advantage of this tragedy to attack homeowners.

The LA City Council is meeting on Wednesday, January 29th at 10:00 AM. to decide on a Rent Freeze and Eviction Moratorium

February 2024 was the first increase opportunity since March 2020.
Now, one year later, they want to freeze the rent AGAIN, preventing the February 2025 increases from going into effect. This will mean housing providers have had ONE 4% rent increase in the last FIVE YEARS.

Growing up I often travelled to El Salvador to see my family. In the early 2000s, my visits were fewer, shorter, and father in between.

After a decade of not being able to return, I finally took my family to meet my family in El Salvador. Being able to be out and about at night was uncanny. The transformation of El Salvador was quite literally day and night.

I was invited to the webinar.

At the time of this broadcast, insurance companies were pausing coverage, canceling policies, and some companies left the State altogether. As a homeowner, property manager, and real estate broker, I have first-hand knowledge of this. Here is my live reaction to it all.
