On today's episode of OTN, I sat down with Caleb Heiple, the front man of the Athens based indie rock / funk quintet, The Angelics.

Caleb Heiple and Jason Angelich met while working together in Athens, GA and quickly found that they shared the same passion for music and showmanship. After months of busking and looking for the right bandmates, The Angelics formed in December of 2021, adding Connor Beitzell, Jon Ngo, and Conner Ankerich to the lineup. Their sound is a blend of the band's shared musical tastes ranging from Alternative, Hard Rock, Funk, Soul, and Indie sounds.

We got to chat about their songwriting process, musical inspirations, working with previous OTN guest (Tommy Trautwein), eating spicy Hawaiian pizza before a show, and what to expect on their new music!
