Have you ever been angry? Of course you have. The emotion of anger is something common to us all. Whether it’s a momentary flare up as someone cuts you off in traffic, a righteous anger when you see something that ought not be, or a bitter anger that seeps into your life and takes control, all of us have felt it at some point. So if all of us experience anger, then it must not be that big of a deal, right? But what if it is a big deal? What if our anger can lead us to a place where our lives have no peace and no joy? In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus addresses the issue of anger and uses some pretty harsh language and imagery when talking about what it can do to our lives.
