Do you know someone who seems absolutely perfect? You know the kind of person I’m talking about… They have successful careers, big and beautiful homes, polite children, and striking good looks. But, do they refuse Jesus Christ? As followers of Jesus, we often desire to help the poor, the lonely, and the heart-broken. But what about the rich? What about the power elite? What about those with great social status?

Before I met Jesus, it looked like my life was going really well. By all outward appearances, I had everything together. I certainly wasn’t perfect, but I looked great on the outside. I had a mask that I wore convincingly for 27 years. I looked like I ‘had it all together.’ But inside I was falling apart. Full of fear about life and eternity. I was consumed by shame and I was miserable. I learned then that we can’t assume people are okay just because of the way they look.

Who looks perfect to you? Do they know Jesus? If not, there is pain. They are questioning eternity, even if they don’t look like it. Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life.” True life, life in abundance, comes only from Jesus Christ. Today, reach out to your world - to the person who seems to have all the answers and tell them of Jesus’ great love for them.                            This is Andrew Palau.
