God is love. That means that He's other-centered and selfless. Satan's lies paint God as an untrustworthy dictator, and if we swallow this poison, it saps our courage. But the opposite is also true. Perfect love casts out fear. When men experience the reality of God's love, it awakens something heroic inside them...something worthy of applause.
