The April Surprise: Why the D.C. Shooting Was a Statistical Impossibility

The official narrative is that a "lone wolf" refugee slipped through the cracks. The data suggests he was a Trojan Horse who was held in reserve—and activated exactly when the Administration needed him.

By Keith Dearone

If you look at the shooting of two National Guard members in Washington, D.C. on November 26 through the lens of the evening news, it looks like a tragedy committed by a radicalized madman.

But if you look at it through the lens of statutory timelines, forensic accounting, and political convenience, the "Lone Wolf" theory falls apart. It is statistically and logistically impossible.

We are being told that Rahmanullah Lakanwal was a relic of the 2021 withdrawal. The paper trail proves otherwise. He was an asset whose legal status was affirmatively regularized by the current Department of Homeland Security in April 2025—just seven months before he was used to solve a massive legal crisis for the Administration.

Here is the deep-dive investigation into the "Trojan Horse" operation that the mainstream media is ignoring.

1. The Timeline of "Coincidence" (Cui Bono?)

In criminal investigations, you ask Cui Bono—who benefits? To understand the shooting on Wednesday, Nov 26, you have to look at the legal disaster that happened five days prior.

* Friday, Nov 21 (The Trigger): Federal Judge Jia Cobb issues a ruling declaring the Trump Administration’s deployment of National Guard troops in D.C. to be "illegal" and orders them to stand down. The Administration is humiliated and losing control of the capital.

* Friday, Nov 21 (The Prep): On the exact same day as the ruling, a Secret DHS Memo is drafted ordering a "review and re-interview" of all Afghan refugees. They knew a crackdown was needed immediately.

* Sunday, Nov 24 (The Narrative): Six Democratic lawmakers release a video reminding troops of their duty to "refuse unlawful orders." The Administration frames this as sedition.

* Wednesday, Nov 26 (The Event): Lakanwal attacks the exact unit declared illegal 120 hours prior.

The Result:

In one afternoon, the "illegal" troops became "heroes under fire." Judge Cobb’s order was effectively nullified by the emergency. The White House deployed 500 more troops instead of removing them.

Probability of Coincidence:

What are the odds that a radicalized refugee would attack the exact unit that a judge declared "illegal" less than 120 hours prior, instantly saving the Administration’s occupation of D.C.?

* Statistical Probability: < 1%

2. The "Zero Unit" Asset

Lakanwal wasn't just a translator or a driver. CIA Director John Ratcliffe confirmed he was a member of the Kandahar Strike Force (KSF).

The KSF was not a regular military unit. It was a "Zero Unit"—a CIA-run paramilitary death squad trained in night raids, targeted assassinations, and absolute obedience to their American handlers.

* The Skillset: These men were trained to kill efficiently and vanish. They do not fit the profile of messy, emotional "lone wolves."

* The Vetting: KSF members were the most "vetted" Afghans in the world. They were brought to the U.S. because they were "our guys."

The Implication:

We didn't import a refugee; we imported a weapon. And for three years, that weapon sat silent. Why did it go off now?

3. The Statutory Smoking Gun: Section 2502(c)

The Administration is screaming that Lakanwal entered in 2021. This is a deflection. The most important date in this case is April 23, 2025.

That is the date the Trump Administration’s USCIS granted him Asylum.

Why did they approve a CIA Death Squad member?

They were following a statutory conveyor belt. Section 2502(c) of the Extending Government Funding Act mandates that Afghan asylum claims be adjudicated within 150 days.

* Dec 2024: Lakanwal applies.

* April 2025: 150 days later, he is approved.

The Negligence (Or Complicity):

Secretary Kristi Noem had a legal "kill switch." Section 2502(c) allows the Secretary to pause the clock for "Exceptional Circumstances" (like pending national security checks).

She chose not to use it.

By failing to invoke the "Exceptional Circumstances" waiver for a known KSF member, DHS prioritized a speed metric over national security. They greenlit the Trojan Horse.

4. The "Impossible" Math

If you ignore the politics and look at the finances, the "Lone Wolf" theory dissolves.

* The Profile: Lakanwal was an Amazon Flex driver supporting a wife and five children in Washington State.

* The Cost of Terror: A last-minute, 2,800-mile trip to D.C. (gas/flight), hotels, food, acquiring a "sedan" in D.C., and purchasing a Glock 19.

* The Bill: Conservative estimates put this operation at $2,000 - $3,000.

The Anomaly:

Where does a gig-worker living paycheck-to-paycheck with 7 dependents get $3,000 in disposable, untraceable cash?

Furthermore, why would a father who just won asylum destroy his family’s life? His attack guarantees his wife and children (who are in the U.S.) will be deported or scrutinized.

* Asset Logic: Assets are trained to sacrifice themselves for the mission.

* Father Logic: Fathers endure hardship to keep their kids safe. They don't blow up their lives for a political statement.

5. Final Probability Assessment

Based on the forensic timeline, the statutory mandates, and the financial anomalies, here is the probability breakdown of the competing theories.

FACTOR 1: TIMING

* ❌ Scenario A (Lone Wolf): Low Probability. Randomly attacking 5 days after the court ruling is a massive coincidence.

* ✅ Scenario B (Trojan Horse): High Probability. The attack was timed perfectly to neutralize the court order.

FACTOR 2: FINANCES

* ❌ Scenario A (Lone Wolf): Impossible. An Amazon Flex driver cannot self-fund a $3,000 operation without a trace.

* ✅ Scenario B (Trojan Horse): Consistent. External funding/support explains the sudden resources.

FACTOR 3: VETTING

* ❌ Scenario A (Lone Wolf): Unlikely. He passed vetting in 2021, 2024, and 2025.

* ✅ Scenario B (Trojan Horse): Consistent. He was "protected" by his CIA status. His record was clean because it was scrubbed.

FACTOR 4: MOTIVE

* ❌ Scenario A (Lone Wolf): Illogical. Destroys his own family for no gain immediately after winning asylum.

* ✅ Scenario B (Trojan Horse): Logical. He was "burned" or coerced into acting as an asset.

OVERALL LIKELIHOOD:

* 📉 Lone Wolf: < 10%

* 📈 Trojan Horse: > 90%

Conclusion:

Rahmanullah Lakanwal was a "Zero Unit" asset who was fast-tracked through the asylum system by the current administration in April 2025. When the White House faced a legal defeat regarding the military occupation of D.C., the asset was utilized.

The Administration got their war. The Court got overruled. And the public got a scapegoat.
