With the reporting requirements under the Securities Financing Transactions Regulations kicking-off in 2020, we're taking a look at how best to prepare so your firm is compliant from the get-go.

SFTR reporting will affect firms (including UCITS ManCos and AIFMs) using Securities Financing Transactions (e.g. repos, securities lending, buybacks). The reporting obligations commence on a phased basis from April 2020 and will apply to UCITS ManCos and AIFMs from October 2020.
