Believe it or not, our natural desires count as powerful clues to God’s existence. But, you might object, we want many impossible things: We want to fly, make ourselves invisible, control the weather, undo traffic, etc. Clearly, these desires have more to do with fantasy than reality. Can’t we just file “God” under fantasy? Here, we must distinguish between natural and artificial desires. In this podcast, we’ll explore the differences between those desires that are natural to all human beings, and those that are secondary. It turns out, natural desires aren’t so easy to explain away.
