When cats receive affection it normally ends with them biting or scratching the hand that is giving it to them. God says repeatedly in His Word that He prefers obedience to sacrifices. So let's attract the Holy Spirit with our extravagant obedience.

Let's not be the cat, always turning on the one who loves us.  Let's take part in God's love revival by showing Him our love through obedience.
