Welcome to The Arsenal Therapy Podcast, a dedicated show about the club we love, Arsenal Football Club.
Arsenal suffered yet another frustrating draw to Southampton at the Emirates Stadium as the chase for the title starts to really heat up. The game started off poorly with Ramsdale creating a mistake to gift Southampton the lead. This led to misplaced passes and a lack of response to Southampton's press. The decision to play Vieira instead of an experienced Jorginho saw us approach the game tentatively, and it seemed like Southampton were more fluid in possession. While we did manage to pull one back with a great goal from Martinelli, the momentum still seemed to be with Southampton, and we continued to struggle with slow movement and poor decision making.
As the match progressed, we made some substitutions, but it still felt like we were lacking the urgency and intensity needed to get back into the game. However it was until the final 10 minutes where Odegaard and Sara salvaged what could be a crucial point as it all comes down to the game at the Etihad.
