A last-minute header by Kai Havertz secured victory in a hard-fought match against Brentford, propelling us to the top of the table. In a contest with limited scoring opportunities, the German striker, subbed in during the second half, nodded in a precise cross from Bukayo Saka just minutes before the final whistle. Earlier, a goal by Leandro Trossard was disallowed for offside following a VAR review, and crucial defensive interventions from Declan Rice and Alex Zinchenko, who cleared two shots off the line, maintained our clean sheet. Although the game lacked aesthetic flair, the three points were enthusiastically embraced by the away fans at the conclusion.
