Tick tock.
Tick tock....Tick tock...Tick tock.
No this is not the sound of a clock ticking away to glory, but me typing away on my humble phone.
Yeah right!
That's how I type stuff.
So what? Everybody does that.
But I'll tell you what is different here.
I've typed out 10,000 words once, from my phone in a Google document!
Yes without doing that on a laptop.
I know you would laugh at this one!
But hear me out for a moment.
I type faster on my phone with one finger than typing with two hands on my laptop.
Infact all my LinkedIn posts are typed out on my Samsung notes from my phone itself and edited on the mobile version of Grammarly.
That's my secret hack to getting work done faster and more efficiently.
And I've developed some great speed with the 'Finger Tick-Tocking Strategy' too!
I've noticed that this concept of giving a constraint to ourselves, helps us to be more creative.
It's like my alpha state in the brain gets activated when I type using my single right finger.
I don't know how many of you can identify with this, but I've done project after project for clients right from my phone.
Sometimes I didn't even have to switch on my laptop for a bit.
Strange but a đź’Ż% true!
Coming back to the philosophy of constraints...
Creativity is something that thrives on constraints.
The more limitations you set for yourself, the more resourceful you become.
This self-imposed constraint hack feels wrong, but it's actually a game changer.
Your problem-solving abilities just skyrocket from there.
Here’s the thing: what if the very limitations we try to escape are actually our superpowers in disguise?
Self imposed limitations don’t cage creativity—they tend to ignite it.
So, maybe your next big idea isn’t about having more tools but mastering the ones you’ve got.
Making the best possible use of your resources can lead to breathtaking results.
So pick up your phone.
Go to Google Docs and create a file there.
Start typing...
Tick tock…Tick-tock, maybe your finger's got a masterpiece waiting to flow.
P.s.
Is there any crazy person like me who's done a huge project on their phone?
