Hey self-help book basic A self help book somewhat basic but very good it will need to follow through
This was a good self-help book with some basic drills. It would probably be worth buying the book and just writing in it. I got the Kindle and I'm sure I'm going to get a hardcopy I already took about 10 pages of notes. While reading it I was thinking of people I would buy this book for have at least 5 to 10 in mind and interestingly his last chapter recommends buying the book and giving it to somebody. My college Hobart College motto recently devised I think by the president Garin is
"live a life of consequence".
This book certainly reinforces that. I'm one of the lucky ones that feel I knew my "Why"and was able to accomplish it.
This was done with the help of many people and very strong team and lots of books going back to Dale Carnegie "how to Win friends and influence people."
One I liked in college was "the type a personality and your heart". Napoleon Hill, zig zigler , "The book "the greatest salesman in the world" and recently some very good ones by Jim Loher
Such as "full engagement" and "the only way to win" in which he emphasizes integrity and character.
daily gratitude's are a key spend some time thinking about what went well and what was your role in it and how can you make it happen more often.
Must read!!
Picked up this book as a quick read after doing a lot of studying on my "Why". Was intrigued that the book forced me to do as much writing as I did reading. It was a great way to help me father my thoughts and then take the time to write out my thoughts. I applaud Frankie for having the courage to share such vulnerable stories of defeat and victory. Had the priveladge of having him speak at our companies annual meeting and he was as authentic as the book would lead you to believe. Bravo!
