Apologies for late post largely due to Jim having a long journey for a funeral and then needing time to recover.....

After a short break to accommodate family holidays the old codger and the clever bloke resume. This time round we cover the Reform inspired by election, clever or shot foot? Can Burnham get a proper grip on the economy before he he’s burned through the money on cheap fares and promises. We’ll see. Plus a bit of the World Cup gues who the villains are?

After cutting our teeth on the role of Jim’s braces we go for the heavy stuff, Burnham, Brexit, British identity, the war in Palestine and especially trying towork out who are the anti-semites.

We’re going for a lie down now.

Well we missed a week. Why ? Because Ciaran was buying. Or rather he was launching his new book which has made the non-fiction best seller list top 10! Woo woo woo!

Jim took the opportunity to plug his own unpublished volumes and after 50 minutes of that we got down to politics and how MilBurn or was it Burnham will get on in Makerfield. Ciaran thinks he’win and Jim doesn’t but then he dowsn’t want anyone to win. We’ll know when we next meet.

How do we make democracy work. Jim says populism but Ciaran disagrees. They fight out a score draw. There will have to be a replay.

There is also a brief foray into why Jim hates the Arse and whether he will win his bet for Spurs to stay up and the Hammerts go down. We’ll know by our next episode....

We return to an old favourite. How regulators are respossible for poor service and processitis. Ciaran does not agree while Jim scrapes the barrel.

We also spend a short while on the resurgence of the Suuuuuper Spurs, but have they left it too late.

Not much else to talk about except the Blockades in Cork, Limerick, Galway and the Gulf of Hormuz. But we manage to revile Starmer and discuss Tourettes syndrome, so you cant say its not varied.

Hopefully we’ll be a bit lighterthearted next time, but there’s some good stuff here.
