Why should we talk about sex in church?

  1. God has a lot to say about it.

  2. The world has a lot to say about it

  3. Sexual sin is a temptation for all of us

1.  God Blesses the sexual union between a husband and wife

  God's purpose for sex is threefold:

    1. For reproduction - Gen 1:27-28

    2. For oneness - Gen 1:24-25

    3. For pleasure - Proverbs 5:18-19

2.  God commands men:

  Delight in only 1 woman.  Their wife

 

3.  God commands women:

  Only turn one mans head.  Only your husband.  Be modest.  Preserve your sexuality for your husband.
