From Crushing Symptoms To Symptom-Free: My Menopause Miracle

Host Rev. Honi Borden shares a raw first‑person account of August–September, when 4½ weeks of crushing menopause symptoms forced her to the edge. A minister and mentor who helps others, Honi describes the timeline, emotional and spiritual processing, the solitude while Michael traveled with his mother, and the turning points that led to becoming symptom‑free. August into September was the hardest month of my Life. Four and a half weeks of crushing menopause symptoms, while Michael was away traveling with his mom, and I hit an end I did not know I had. I am a mentor. I am a minister. I help people move through exactly this. And I still hit my own end.

In this episode I tell you exactly what happened. The safe space conversation with Michael that finally let decades of suppressed pain come up and out. The childhood survival patterns I did not know were still running me. And then, in the middle of that very night, a midnight encounter with Yeshua, the Living Christ, that I am still in awe of.

Menopause, Sacred Marriage, and the Series We Almost Didn't Record

We are just coming off our One Year Anniversary, and we knew exactly where Year Two needed to begin. Not with a soft launch. With the truth. This episode opens our new season on Sacred Relationships and Sacred Marriage, and the very first topic we are bringing into the light is the one most couples never talk about out loud. Menopause.

Honi has been walking through perimenopause since she was 39. She is 54 now. Michael has walked every mile of it beside her for the ten years they have known each other, from the nights she used to toss and tumble in her sleep like a tumbleweed in the wind, to the last four or five weeks, which she calls by far the hardest of the whole journey.
