It's a Sign! The Art of Alignment

The Astrology of Dua Lipa and Callum Turner

Listen Later

In episode 109 astrologers Kristina Martin and Tara Redfield dance their way into the synastry between pop icon Dua Lipa and her model/actor boyfriend, Callum Turner.

We begin with Dua and see a clear intellectual theme thanks to her curious Gemini Rising and analytical Mercury in Virgo. She is all about learning, analyzing, and using the power of storytelling. These placements provide a strong thirst for knowledge, but can also create mental overload and anxiety. We also notice her bright and glamorous Sun/Venus conjunction in Leo, however beneath that sparkler there is a darker, more intense side to her coming from a challenging Pluto square.

Next, we talk about Callum's chart and find an unconventional, community-oriented Aquarius Sun paired with a tender and thoughtful Moon/Jupiter trine. We also see a heavy planetary pile up in disciplined and structure loving Capricorn, including Venus and Mars, telling us he takes a serious and patient approach to relationships.

Together, their opposing Suns (Aquarius vs. Leo) give us cause for applause, as this shows a nice ego balance and the ability to "light" each other up. However, further along in our assessment we see Pluto squaring both Suns, revealing deep-rooted issues of control, paranoia, and deconstruction when it comes to each other's identities. There is a receptive Mercury/Venus trine but can that loving communication aid in the discomfort of another harsh aspect, a Moon/Uranus square?

Listen in to find out what Venus score this allegedly engaged couple receives!
