The attack on unionists in Hong Kong

After the 2020 elections in Hong Kong, 47 pro-democracy activists were arrested. Two weeks ago fourteen activists who pleaded guilty were convicted. Carol Ng, chair of the Hong Kong Confederation of Trade Unions (HKCTU) has been jailed without bail for three years. A RadioLabour interview with the executive director of the Hong Kong Labor Rights Monitor, Christopher Siu-tat Mung.
