There’s a general lack of understanding amongst the public about what life coaching really is and what life coaches really do. Most misguidedly believe it to be some form of mentoring or advice-giving service.

And some life coaches stray from their calling and play to the gallery by trying to be problem-solvers.

However, the authentic life coach is one committed to coaching that transforms the client's thinking and behaviours, such that they find the opportunity that lies masked behind their problems.
