After a long career in the United States Navy, working as a Top Gun Instructor, duties on JSOC, and then finally ending as an Annapolis Navy Academy Instructor, he finally decided to retire.

As an instructor his personal goal was to ensure that the future generation was better prepared for their 9/11 than we were for ours.

Mark wanted a simple life where he could get a dog and ride his bike to work.  

When he retired, he finally accomplished that goal, and thus began his entrepreneur journey.
